Night feedings
When you feed your baby at night, whether you are nursing or feeding it with a bottle, you have to stay awake because falling asleep is a potential risk to your baby. The task sounds simple, but it’s not at all. When you’re tired, it’s very easy to fall asleep, so here are a few tricks ,who come to your help.
Getting up at night to feed your baby or changing his diaper is something quite normal, and yet it is the most difficult task for any mother. The first advice is to get out of bed while feeding your baby. It’s easiest to take the baby with you into bed and feed it there, but that way you will certainly fall asleep. If you sit somewhere else for example, in a rocking chair, the likelihood of falling asleep is smaller. Sofas and comfortable soft chairs should also be avoided. Another good option is to set up a vibration alarm for 5 minutes. If the baby did not feed for 5 minutes, you must to set another alarm. That way you may not stay awake, but at least you will wake up quickly. You can also make a light and healthy snack to keep you awake. For example, carrot, apple, cucumber. Listening to music on the headphones in order not to worry the baby is also an option. You can also catch up with an interesting book during this time too.
These tips have helped me. I hope they help to you too , because night feedings are a real challenge, and safety is the most important thing.
